Baby Bangs - What Do You Think?

Mar-26-2009 By Mandy

Ok, so this post isn’t about diaper bags, but we couldn’t resist seeing what you think about this new product.

Has your baby girl been mistaken for a boy just because she doesn’t have hair? Well, there’s a company out there on a mission to stop that. It’s called Baby Bangs and you may have heard of it already because it has received some attention recently.

Baby Bangs offers a patent pending hairband with hair attached to give your baby girl lovely locks when she doesn’t have her own. The headband is worn in the same way traditional headbands are worn. The company states that they are safe to wear and have no metal clips or attachment pieces.

What do you think about this concept? Would you give your baby girl hair to help her look more like a girl until she gets her own head of hair? Is this a cute hair accessory or just another fad like baby high heel shoes?

Fleurville Re-Run Hana OgoFleurville makes beautiful diaper bags that many times look more like handbags than baby bags. Their Re-Run Hana Ogo diaper bag, however, is not only stylish, but it is also eco-friendly. It is made from their Re-Run™ fabric which keeps 6 plastic bottles out of landfills!!

In addition to being earth-friendly, the diaper bag is also great for staying organized. It features multiple pockets inside and out, quick access to bottles and sippy cups, fleece-lined turn-lock pockets for cell phone and frequently used items, and rings on the inside of the strap for easy stroller attachment.

My Royal Heinie DaypackWhat do you do when you simply don’t want to carry a huge diaper bag with you but you still need something functional? You grab your My Royal Heinie Daypack. Measuring just 9″x7″, the Daypack is a compact diaper purse that’s perfect for any day outing because it won’t weigh you down. But just because it’s small doesn’t mean you can’t pack everything you need for baby in it. The pack holds up to six diapers, a large stack of wipes (in their patented wipes dispenser) and all of your personal items. There’s even room for a bottle or sippy cup.

The bag also comes with an adjustable strap that allows you to wear it as a shoulder bag or messenger bag.

JP Lizzy Sprout Classic Tote Set Sure you can find diaper bags in pink and blue, but how about something in green? Green is perfect for spring and actually quite fashionable this season. Just take a look at the JP Lizzy Sprout Classic Tote Set for example. The tote is black with a cheerful green lining and the set comes with matching green changing pad, cosmetic bag, and wristlet. And if you’re looking for a gift for a new mom, this set is perfect. You’re getting a diaper bag and changing pad plus two more handy bags for mom. What a value!

Other features of the tote bag include:

  • Wipeable fabric and liner
  • Stroller straps
  • 2 interior pockets
  • 2 adjustable bottle pockets
  • 2 exterior side pockets
